David Norden here. As I told you in my previous email the African Art Club is opening this month and will become your first resource for instant news about African Art.

As you probably now, I have run the African Antiques website since 1998 and much has changed in terms of communications over these years .

For instance, when in November 2008 I saw in New York this beautiful Senufo pair selling for 3.5 million dollars I was able to tell you the same night from my hotel room thanks to my laptop and Wifi.

When there is informations you want it today. Even if though the internet is handy, it is sometimes still difficult to find the exact information you need, or you can have information overload.

The African Art Club will do the reseach work for you. E.g.: Did you know there is an interesting African Art auction at Skinner in Boston this month? Did you already plan your trip to the San-Francisco Fair next month? Did you know an interesting book "African Faces" was published by Lannoo his month ?

I have asked the readers of this newsletter how much they wanted to pay for this service. Some said they would be willing to pay US$100$ per month; others mentioned Euro 20.

I simply want to make this newsletter affordable and reach out to as many of you as posssibe.

I therefore decided to make this it available for as €5,00 EUR for the first month Then €20,00 EUR for each month. The way it works is simple. Listen to my explanations in this little video:

I am currently working on my business to start my African antique colectables from website, maybe set up shop. I am learning to be an expert in the field and your site has helped me learn a lot. I would love to receive information on the history of objects and their value. I really enjoyed the interview you had on African art dealers on website , are they genuine or not ?
