The Bindji, also called Mbagani, are neighboors of the Lwalu, KEte, and
Kongo-Dinga tribes, and leave near the border of Angola and Zaïre RDC. This
type of mask is quite seldom, you can clearly see the Lwalu masks influence.
According to François Neyt the use of white Kaolin arround the eyes is to
announce the presence of the ancestors spirits in and around the mask.

This mask was used by the secret Mukanda society during times of
scarcity or when to much women have fertility problems.
