Dogon mask
A very old Dogon mask, 72 cm high
A Dogon mask I got from an old lady that bought it on the rue des Minimes in Brussels in the 1970's from a gallery she didn't remember the name.
Today it is not so easy to find an old Kanaga mask. This is a very old mask with clear signs of usage and some restoration on the face and at the upper part.
It has good patina and signs of aging. Probable age end XIXth.
