Nice expression.
age: 2000 years old +/- 200 years , not TL tested but clear signs of aging like manganese spots, and layered core.
Nok head fragments like this one was once part of an entire body.
The slip (the mixture of clay and water used to give pottery surfaces an even texture) of many Nok terracottas has eroded, leaving a grainy, pocked exterior that does not reflect their original smooth appearance, but here it is still quite in good condition.
