Made from a little white colored wood, it represent a human figure without clear gender. Black-brown patina partly shiny, partly dusty. On his left arm some small part of the wood are missing, maybe eaten by a little animal, or used to be eaten during a ceremony. According to Anita Glaze this type of little statues was used during in the Sando secret society for divination. The Sando being a woman's association, opposed to the Poro who is a men's association. This kind of statues is called Madebele and can represents a spirit of the forest, or an ideal men or woman (more probable in this case) .Arms clearly detached fro body with stylized hands on the belly, finders of one of the hands is missing. Legs without feet's on a round base. The coiffure like a cape with a little hair look like extension in the back.
