Like Indonesia, the culture of East Timor is very influenced by these kinds of Austronesian legends.
Period: XIXth century.
Nice shiny patina, due to offerings, making it look like metal.

Old genuine Timor masks are quite rare to find. It is the first old Timor mask I have seen in ten
years.
