Lived/worked in Rotterdam till 1932, Amsterdam after 1932.

P. van Wijngaerdt was his teacher. He was known for doing Mural paintings. Paintings in a constructive-expressionist style, he was member of the B.B.K. 

Works in the Central Museum Utrecht, & also in the Rijkscollectie from Netherland.

A quite big painting,unframed, in the line of Jespers.
